I suggested we write after drawing in the same way I do in my own art practice. We wrote what was true: the good, the bad, and whatever! Then we talked. Something special happened: noticing, awareness, and a new gentleness for ourselves, our drawings, the drawings of others and their drawings, too. The power of writing after drawing was simply remarkable.
Workshops are gatherings of discovery. Drawing, writing, and noticing make a creative cycle.
Drawing classes at Coal Harbour Community Centre late fall details to be posted here.

WRITE/DRAW: integrated workshop, January 16, 2025, Upstart and Crow, Vancouver

Workshops are windows into creativity.
I appreciate all those who come, bring friends, support me as a teaching artist, and makers everywhere.
Together, we make drawing wonderful!
